Connect Rehabilitation Services is a licensed, community-based provider of psychiatric rehabilitation services in Frederick County, Maryland. We offer non-traditional, client-centered support, designed to help individuals build skills, strengthen independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

Our programs are flexible, accessible, and outcome-focused, ensuring each person receives services that meet them where they are and support where they want to go.

To ensure comprehensive care, we collaborate with key community partners, like the Department of Social Services, Department of Juvenile Services, Maryland Court Systems, and individual Social Workers. Together, we help identify and coordinate the most appropriate psychiatric rehabilitation interventions for each client’s needs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric rehabilitation (PRP) services that help individuals build independent, fulfilling lives within their communities. We deliver person-centered programs tailored to each participant’s needs, that supports daily living, social skills, work readiness, and emotional wellness.

Through accessible care and strong community partnerships, we aim to improve overall health outcomes, increase access to support, and reduce the need for intensive interventions. Our role is to guide, empower, and equip every participant with the tools to achieve their goals and maintain long-term stability.

Our Goals

  • Expand availability of person-centered PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) services across Maryland.
  • Provide improved quality of life, recovery outcomes, and functional skills for participants
  • Provide improved client advocacy, educational guidance, and access to excellent community resources.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality care through standardized, evidence-based practices.

Objectives

  • To help individuals develop emotional, social, and intellectual skills needed to live, learn, and work in the community with the least amount of support.
  • To improve the quality of life for our clients
  • To enhance self-determination, recovery, dignity, self-worth, optimism, and community integration overall.
  • To increase the ability to function and remain in your own community.
  • Provide tools to help stabilize psychiatric or emotional symptoms in less restrictive setting.
  • To educate clients with positive ways of managing, controlling, and coping with psychiatric symptoms.
  • To reduce social seclusion, especially in minors, with persistent psychiatric symptoms through the creation of a therapeutic environment, which is supportive, warm, and interactive.
  • To increase and enhance self esteem through the development of life skills and adaptive abilities.
